Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 July 2026

Written to be read, not just filed. Questions about anything here: ai@lemait.ai.

1. What LEMAIT is

LEMAIT turns a plain-language task description into a priced, standard-hours estimate, and — once you order and pay — an AI-drafted, integrator-reviewed piece of work: either a document/ analysis (an artifact, which you own outright) or a running integration/ automation (a capability, which you get ongoing access to for as long as the covering subscription is active). See our licensing explainer for the distinction — it governs everything we deliver.

2. Estimates aren't commitments

Describing a task and seeing its standard-hours estimate costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Nothing is worked on — not even hours already included in your plan — until you bundle the task(s) into an order and that order is confirmed as paid. This applies uniformly, with no exceptions for "it's already covered by my plan."

3. Payment, today

Online card payment isn't wired up yet. Right now, orders are settled by invoice / bank transfer, and an admin confirms the order as paid once funds are received — that confirmation is what actually starts the work. We'll update this section the day card payment goes live.

4. Data processing mode

Each workspace runs in Free mode (optimized for price, every provider eligible) or EU AI Act mode (providers we consider unsuitable for EU-regulated work are excluded from routing, and every task's handling model is logged and visible). Neither mode means the model runs inside the EU — our current providers are US-based. Contact and identifier data in task descriptions — emails, phone numbers, IBANs, VAT and tax identifiers, card numbers — is automatically replaced with placeholders before any provider sees it, in either mode. Personal names in free text are not automatically detected; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is and is not redacted. Full detail: Privacy Policy. This setting doesn't substitute for your own legal assessment of what applies to your specific use case.

5. Accounts

LEMAIT is for business use. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit and for keeping your account credentials confidential. Passwords are stored bcrypt-hashed — we can't recover a lost password, only reset it.

6. Liability

LEMAIT is an early-stage product. We do our best to deliver what's estimated, but we make no guarantee that any AI-drafted output is fit for a specific purpose beyond what's stated in the task's own delivered metric. Review deliverables before relying on them for anything regulatory, financial, or safety-critical. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Ending the relationship

You can stop at any time — cancel your plan and access to any capability tied to it ends at the close of the paid period. Artifacts already delivered to you remain yours regardless. We may suspend an account for non-payment or abuse, with notice by email first wherever practical.

8. Governing law

LEMAIT's formal operating entity and its governing jurisdiction are being finalized. We'd rather say that plainly than assert a jurisdiction that doesn't reflect reality yet. Until it's set, we'll resolve any dispute directly and in good faith — email us first, before anything else. This section will be updated with specifics the moment the entity is in place.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we'll update the date above and email active account holders directly.
